Job OverviewThis role involves delivering clinical primary health care services at remote clinic sites and headspace, including emergency care and telehealth clinics.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop high-quality health services, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
This role includes travel to various remote communities and active participation in local health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical primary health care services at remote clinic sites and headspace
- Engage in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the improvement of clinical practices
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, fostering a supportive learning environment
- Participate in community health programs and contribute to clinical leadership within the organisation
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current AHPRA registration with no conditions
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
- Experience in managing emergencies in remote settings and strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Aboriginal culture and effective communication skills with Aboriginal people
