About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Organizational Development Specialist to join our national People & Culture team at URBIS. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Group Director of People & Culture, the Head of Learning & Capability, and other senior leaders to deliver key people strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the program design and implementation of culture and capability programs across the business, including talent identification, induction, leadership, performance management, compliance, and other professional programs.
  • Work collaboratively and innovatively across practice groups and functions to deliver effective learning and culture solutions.
  • Work in consultation with the national People & Culture team to source and deliver first-class organizational learning and culture experiences.
  • Integrate learning solutions within the URBIS employee experience lifecycle, including performance management, development, and promotion cycles.
  • Partner with our Inclusion Consultant to drive inclusion learning solutions and ensure an appropriate D&I lens is applied to all initiatives.
  • Work alongside the business to build out our skill development in the areas of people leadership, client leadership, and digital & technology.
  • Measure the ROI on our new LMS & URBIS Academy (Adobe LMS), including ongoing maintenance and operational optimization.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate organizational learning and culture programs.
  • Support survey development to capture feedback to measure ROI of Learning & Capability initiatives.
  • Design and develop impactful business communication strategies to drive advocacy and engagement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of all learning initiatives, including compliance, technical, and professional learning experiences.
About You

You will have an obvious passion for developing high-performance People & Culture initiatives and a pragmatic understanding of commercial imperatives. You will have a high level of personal impact and credibility and will be excited by working in a rapidly growing business.

  • Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management or Psychology.
  • Excellent understanding of the business and commercial context within which P&C operates.
  • Demonstrated understanding of current Learning and Organizational Development methodologies, practices, and policies, and the ability to apply these as required to formulate innovative ideas into practical and fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Demonstrated influencing capability evidenced through the ability to consult and deliver best-in-class people solutions.
  • Experience in design, delivery, facilitation, and evaluation of training.
  • Strong IT/computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with experience in LMS administration, reporting, compiling, and analyzing data.
  • Demonstrated strong time and project management skills, with the ability to set priorities, plan, and organize own work and connect to the broader team in order to achieve set objectives within agreed timeframes, quality standards, and budget.
