Childrenswear Apparel Buyer Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive market-leading company as a Childrenswear Apparel Buyer. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in managing all aspects of apparel buying.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement and distribution of childrenswear products from newborn through to toddler.
  • Create and deliver plans to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, design, and technical teams to identify new market opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with ACCC standards regarding childrenswear.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a buyer.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills.
  • Proven experience in buying childrenswear products.
  • Experience in implementing merchandise strategy.
