Procurement Expertise for High Performance

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our Corporate Procurement Team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team and drive high-quality procurement outcomes.

About the Role
  • Lead a Team: Supervise a small team of procurement professionals to ensure compliance and delivery of high-quality procurement results.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and assurance on ACCC procurement and contract processes, including development and review of procurement plans and contracts.
  • Policy Development: Manage the development and continuous improvement of ACCC procurement policies and processes in consultation with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Procurement: Undertake end-to-end procurement, including reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team to achieve results within a high-performance team environment.
  • Organisational Skills: Demonstrate excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
About You
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in applying the Commonwealth Government procurement framework and undertaking end-to-end procurement.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a team.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities, and strong understanding of procurement principles.
