Technical Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and enhancements from spec to production and ongoing operations at scale.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a globally distributed team, collaborate remotely, and write clean web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients using Python (and optionally Golang).

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated professional proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python, as well as broad technology base but favour backend code and infrastructure.

Strong academic performance in Computer Science, STEM or a similar degree is required. We value diversity of experience, perspectives, and background that create a better work environment and better products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new features and enhancements from spec to production and ongoing operations at scale.
  • Collaborate remotely with a globally distributed team.
  • Write clean web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients using Python (and optionally Golang).
  • Review code and technical designs produced by other engineers.
  • Discuss ideas and collaborate on finding good solutions.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated professional proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python.
  • Broad technology base but favor backend code and infrastructure.
  • Know your way around relational and non-relational databases and can effectively design data models that perform well, and tune queries to access them.
  • Comfortable with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
  • Strong academic performance in Computer Science, STEM or a similar degree.
