The Role: We're very excited to be looking for a full-time Web Developer to join our growing agency We're after a long-term team member who has a immaculate eye.
Your duties would include: React & Next.js Development - Build dynamic, performant web applications using modern React frameworks Headless CMS Integration - Connect front-end applications with headless content management systems (Strapi, Contentful, Sanity)Word Press Development - Create custom themes, plugins, and headless Word Press implementations Shopify Development - Build custom Shopify themes, liquid templating, and Shopify Plus solutions Component-Based Architecture - Develop reusable React components and design systems API Integration & Data Fetching - Implement REST and Graph QL APIs for seamless data flow Performance Optimisation - Ensure fast loading times, SEO optimisation, and Core Web Vitals compliance User Interface (UI) & User Experience (UX) Implementation - Transform designs into pixel-perfect, interactive interfaces Figma to Code Translation - Convert design files into functional React components Version Control & Deployment - Manage code through Git, deploy via Vercel, Netlify, or similar platforms Client Communication & Technical Consultation - Present technical solutions and project updates to stakeholders Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and marketing teams Modern Development Workflow - Utilise Type Script, Tailwind CSS, and contemporary development tools E-commerce Solutions - Implement shopping cart functionality, payment gateways, and conversion optimisation Website Maintenance & Updates - Ongoing support for React applications and CMS-driven websites BONUS: Animation Design We're Looking For A Candidate With The Following Skills: Experience within a Web Designer or Web Developer role with a proven ability and portfolio of work for reference (Examples provided).+Thinking outside the box to drive outstanding results Clear client communication The ability to work both independently and in a team environment A strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn new skills Passion and energy for the role Basic understanding of Github Domain Management & DNS Management Understanding of WHM & c Panel Understanding of Vercel Hosting Platform Highly confident Word Press knowledge (Custom templates & custom functionality)Experience with E-Commerce applications (Woo Commerce, Shopify & Magento)We Offer: Central south of the river location (free parking) Ongoing guidance, learning, training and personal career development Friendly work environment with a collaborative team Employee perks (lots of free food) Team bonding activities An agency that cares about you If you have any enquiries don't hesitate to reach out If the above position sounds like you - Please apply by sending through your resume, portfolio and more information about yourself to Ryan & Adam via hello@wordofmouthagency.com.au.
