About the Opportunity
Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee a team of investigators and drive high-quality investigation and inspection outcomes. Reporting to the Director Regulation and Advice, the General Manager Investigations will be responsible for leading and enhancing CBS's investigation and inspection functions, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and regulatory obligations.
This pivotal role will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and continuous improvement to the delivery of investigation and inspection services. With strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities, the successful candidate will collaborate across multiple business units and management teams to ensure efficient, effective, and consistent investigative practices. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the broader strategic objectives of CBS by shaping and influencing key regulatory outcomes.
About the Business
The Attorney-General's Department (AGD) provides a range of legal, regulatory and other services for the government and people of South Australia. Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is a division of the Attorney-General's Department and is responsible for protecting consumers, supporting and regulating businesses and recording significant life events for South Australians. CBS constitutes a large part of South Australia's business/consumer regulatory system and is the regulator for many businesses and professions.
