Investigate incidents and complaints to determine legislative breaches
**Your new company**
This Government agency are responsible for monitoring and regulating education services across South Australia. Due to recent secondments within the Compliance and Investigations team, the agency is looking to onboard an investigator for an initial period of six months.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will undertake investigation activities deemed to be a lower risk where compliance action may be considered, including:
- Identifying, gathering and compiling evidence
- Preparing and assessing documentation
- Interviewing witnesses and taking detailed statements
- Preparing and using investigation plans
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience in conducting investigations including interviewing techniques pertaining to legislative powers, breaches and compliance actions
- Previous experience in making recommendations as a result of significant adverse incidents
- Ability to recognise and deal discreetly with confidential matters and demonstrate integrity
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
**What you'll get in return**
A competitive hourly rate + 11% superannuation will be offered, as well as the support of guidance of a dedicated Recruitment Consultant throughout your assignment. Working in a modern CBD office with the option for flexible working arrangements, an initial assignment length of six months will be offered plus the possibility of extension.
