About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Strategist to join our team at Siemens Industry Software Pty Ltd. As a Sales Account Strategist, you will be responsible for growing our PLM software business in Australia's Defence industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a cohesive sales strategy to drive the sale of PLM software to Defence industry customers.
  • Conduct market analysis and provide insights to inform sales decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Defence industry.
  • Prepare and negotiate proposals and projects with customers.
  • Coordinate the realization of assignments and contribute to the development of customer-focused After Sales Service.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship and based in Australia.
  • Graduate in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of software sales experience with a validated track record in Defence industry customers.
  • Experience in selling PLM software, vendor or reseller market experience capacity with subscription business model are highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex software selling environments and achieve targets.
  • Good business insight and forecasting skills.
  • Good working knowledge of selling Enterprise Software and leading accounts in the ANZ region.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and excellent leadership and accountability skills.
  • Proven self-starter/motivated and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • IT savvy and ability to multitask.
