We are seeking a talented and experienced Director to lead our boutique services in Narrabundah, ACT.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to drive a high-quality program and make a real difference in the lives of children.
This is a permanent full-time position with above award hourly rates based on experience and qualifications, including a salary of up to $48.86 per hour, plus an on-call allowance and educational leader allowance.
The role involves establishing and nurturing respectful relationships with children, families, and staff, as well as supporting your team to provide engaging learning environments that allow children to think critically and direct their own learning.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the overall health, wellbeing, and safety of all children attending the service, as well as further developing partnerships with local agencies and community groups.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma in Early Education and Care or equivalent, previous experience as a Director or Assistant Director, and current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration.
You should also have demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide a team in providing quality early childhood education and care, sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
