This team plays a critical role in managing motor recovery claims while ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered to all parties. With a focus on coaching and building a high-performing team, this role suits a proactive, achievement-oriented individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Driving team engagement, motivation, and recognition
  2. Driving recovery outcomes by setting clear performance targets and ensuring consistent achievement
  3. Ensuring all claims are handled in line with relevant policies, procedures, authority limits, and legislative requirements
  4. Applying strategic negotiation and communication skills to maximise success
  5. Providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members to support continuous improvement
  6. Analysing recovery trends and data to identify opportunities for process enhancements and improved outcomes
  7. Undertaking end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities to build and strengthen team capability

Requirements

  • Demonstrated frontline experience in customer service
  • Proven leadership in managing teams, with a focus on coaching, performance development, and driving results
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and sound decision-making skills to assess complex situations
  • Ability to build and influence relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Demonstrates empathy, compassion, resilience, tactful discretion, and confidentiality when dealing with employees or stakeholders
