We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical Governance Expert. This role will play a key part in driving the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care across Western Australia.


As a Clinical Governance Expert, you will work closely with the Head of Clinical Governance to strengthen governance and quality across clinical services. You will champion continuous improvement and evidence-based practice to deliver safe and high-quality care.

  • Develop and implement clear clinical policies that meet national safety and accreditation standards.
  • Support clinical risk management by identifying, assessing, and responding to key risks.
  • Maintain documents, templates, and reporting tools up-to-date and fit for purpose.
  • Collect and analyze information to create meaningful reports that support informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to audits, compliance activities, and maintaining accreditation readiness.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and projects that drive positive change.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture by identifying risks and promoting safe practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You are someone who genuinely cares about delivering better healthcare and sees the bigger picture regarding quality, safety, and clinical governance.
  • You are detail-oriented, confident in writing policies or reports, and comfortable collaborating across all levels of the organization.
  • You have a relevant degree in health, quality, governance, or a similar field.
  • You hold AHPRA registration.
  • You have postgraduate certification or experience in clinical governance or quality improvement (desirable).
