Job Overview

This role focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to extract insights from large-scale datasets, enhancing disaster management strategies and decision-making processes. Key responsibilities include developing generative AI models for automated reporting and forecasting, designing data visualization tools, and identifying opportunities to integrate AI into existing workflows.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement generative AI models to produce actionable insights and automate reporting processes.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to translate complex data into meaningful outputs for stakeholders.
  • Identify areas where AI can enhance current workflows, including risk assessment, resource allocation, and scenario modeling.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to ensure AI initiatives are secure, robust, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Evaluate AI and data usage against privacy, ethical, and compliance guidelines.
  • Document AI model rationale and logic to support explainability and transparency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in AI, ML, or Data Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a data science, AI, or machine learning role.
