About us

Purpose of Role

This role leads the development of scientifically grounded and intelligence-driven disaster risk assessments for Queensland, integrating contemporary and internationally aligned risk methodologies.

This influences the mainstreaming of disaster risk management into the general development process, aiming for disaster risk reduction and sustainable development.

You will be responsible for leading and managing functions, building strong relationships with stakeholders to develop resilience within the community.

You will contribute to the development of policies that achieve mitigating the effects of disasters under a changing climate on the community and the state.
