Paediatric Nursing Education Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to support staff development and promote evidence-based practice in a specialized paediatric setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and evaluate clinical nursing education for ward staff, promoting effective learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Unit Manager, Nurse Educator, and wider hospital team to develop and implement clinical education relevant to specialties and basic nursing competencies.
- Support clinical education to others outside the ward/unit when required, enhancing knowledge sharing and expertise.
Requirements:
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated effective clinical teaching skills, including adult learning principles.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical and professional development, staying up-to-date with industry standards.
- Demonstrated advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and patients.
- Knowledge and understanding of NSQHS Standards relating to education, maintaining high-quality care standards.
