We're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Retail Leader In Training to join our Lorna Jane Hobart store. This role offers a unique opportunity for growth, leadership development, and empowerment.

About the Role:

  • Support the Store Leader in driving sales and achieving business objectives by optimizing retail operations and implementing strategies that maximize store performance.
  • Actively participate in the execution of visual merchandising guidelines to ensure visually appealing store displays and maximize customer engagement.
  • Assist in managing stock control processes, including cycle exits, to maintain efficient inventory levels and support easy replenishment.
  • Lead by example in driving customer conversion through consistent application of 'We Think Customer' standards, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader to develop and implement business initiatives such as store promotions, product launches, and customer attraction strategies.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve individual and store performance, fostering a culture of growth and empowerment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the team regarding daily store goals, promotional activities, and operational changes.
  • Maintain ownership of the 'Daily Planner' to ensure smooth store operations, assisting in opening and closing procedures.
  • Take the lead in e-learning completion and engage the team in learning resources, promoting continuous development and improvement.
  • Develop strong product knowledge and confidently upsell Lorna Jane products to meet customers' needs, enhancing sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-centric environment.
  • Exceptional sales ability and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating to achieve common goals.
  • Effective communication skills, with a focus on clarity and intention, ensuring seamless collaboration and progress.
  • A drive to be results-oriented and exceed business targets, with a solution-focused approach to adapt to changing circumstances.
