Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in Western Division Office. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing land and water activities, including acquisition, improvement, holding and granting of property.

This role requires excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve organisational goals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate land and water acquisition, property management and grant projects
  • Manage and supervise a team to ensure effective and efficient implementation of policies, programs and projects
  • Contribute to the development of corporate priorities and operational plan
  • Establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders to partner or leverage investment in Indigenous land and water
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in operations management and leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Indigenous land and water rights and interests
