Job Role Overview

The Huntington's Disease Service is a specialized team of dedicated clinicians working to support individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease.

This role involves delivering specialized case management and clinical support to individuals and families impacted by Huntington's Disease.

  • Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll coordinate care across different settings.
  • You'll provide education and therapeutic interventions, and work with health professionals and support services to ensure holistic care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in mental health services and/or Huntington's Disease Services.
  • Understanding of the psychosocial and health needs of patients/clients and their families/carers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing, including assertive case management, triage, and crisis intervention.
