Job Description

A key opportunity exists for an experienced Paralegal to join a leading financial institution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality paralegal support, communicate with clients and participate in meetings
  • Create wills, powers of attorney, and file notes
  • Review legal documentation and provide general administrative assistance
  • Interact with clients to arrange initial consultations and draft standard wills, wills incorporating testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney, trust deeds, correspondence and related materials
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with financial advisors for referrals of new matters
  • Collaborate across functions to deliver on key strategic initiatives
  • Manage personnel processes, risk management frameworks, and assist with the management of teams

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in private practice or a corporate environment
  • Prior experience in wills and estates is desirable
  • General legal experience in property, commercial and/or related law
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with a proven ability to strategically engage with colleagues and senior stakeholders
