The Plant Fleet and Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the council's fleet, plant, and equipment assets. This includes acquisition, disposal, registration, operational requirements, servicing, and repairs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the council's fleet, plant, and equipment assets to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies for fleet management, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance.
- Oversee the registration and licensing of fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding fleet management.
- Manage the budget for fleet, plant, and equipment assets.
- Supervise a team of staff responsible for fleet maintenance and operations.
**Requirements:**
- Qld 'HR' class drivers' licence or higher.
- Trade qualification or Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle with at least 5 years' experience.
- Qld Transport Inspection Station Officer Accreditation.
- Construction Industry White / Blue Card.
