Job Summary

The Release of Information Officer plays a vital role in the organization, ensuring timely and secure patient information release to both internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage Release of Information (ROI) requests in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Utilize decision-making skills to determine the appropriateness of releasing sensitive information.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients on a daily basis.
Key Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working within Health Information and Record Services or related record keeping systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as customer service expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and information privacy principles.
  • Proficiency in computerized record information systems and Microsoft Office applications.
