Job Opportunity: HR Support Specialist

This is a full-time temporary position within the Tasmanian Health Sector, providing support to a busy team for a two-month period.

  • Provide assistance to managers and staff on a diverse range of HR services, specifically those associated with payroll and recruitment processes.
  • Process transactions relating to salary payments, including new employments, terminations, and personnel movements.
  • Manage recruitment processes and ensure selections are undertaken in a timely manner.
  • Prepare recruitment-related correspondence and assist with vacancy filling requests.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong understanding of the Tasmanian State Service legislative framework.
  • The ability to use initiative and plan work in a time-critical environment.
  • Self-motivation and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

As an attractive hourly rate and standard business hours, Monday to Friday, completing a 38-hour standard week make this job opportunity appealing.
