Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations to support business objectives and development projects.

About the Role:

The primary goal of this position is to ensure seamless transport operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and manage transport functions to meet business objectives
  • Coordinate international and domestic transport requests for materials and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of transport and logistics provider performance
  • Ensure cost control of all transport and logistics services, including processing invoices
  • Monitor KPIs on transport operations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience in a technical area
  • Previous experience in transport, heavy vehicle scheduling, freight forwarding, and international logistics
  • Completion of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Dangerous Goods (DG) transport training courses preferred

Key Skills:

  • Transport cost control and invoice management
  • Supply chain systems and ERP
  • Purchasing to pay process
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint

This role requires an administrator/coordinator level individual who can collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain compliance with EHS performance and behavior standards.
