Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations and manage logistical responsibilities on our project. The successful candidate will perform work as a logistics technical or commercial role supporting a medium-sized project with moderate scope as a deployed, dedicated resource in the home office or field.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform domestic and international multi-leg shipment tasks in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to meet project objectives.
  • Coordinate shipments with internal and external entities.
  • Enter shipment tracking data into Transport Management System (TMS) and other functional tools/systems to provide visibility into shipment status.
  • Prepare logistics reports or performance metrics as required to satisfy project information needs.
  • Audit and process Logistics Service Provider invoices in accordance with project procedures.
  • Analyze transport costs and service alternatives to support materials/equipment purchase decisions and use of Logistics Service Providers.
  • Assist the project Logistics Lead as requested.
  • Resolve Logistics Service Provider claims.
  • Develop Logistics Service Provider commercial bid tabs, commitment authorizations, and contract documents.
  • Conduct logistics studies including site visits and reviews of Logistics Service Provider facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements in all logistics activities.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 5 to 8 years of relevant experience or 9 to 12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working on medium to large scale projects highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)/Transport Assurance certification preferred.
  • Home, Field, and deployed project experience beneficial.
