Job Title: Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Busways, a leading provider of public transportation services in Western Sydney.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, and assembling vehicles to ensure safety, quality, and Busways standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Inspect and repair vehicle components, such as brakes and suspension
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
  • Relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential
  • Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles, with a focus on heavy vehicles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
