We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team at Busways. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, and assembling our fleet of vehicles, ensuring safety, quality, and Busways standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and assets
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
- Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety requirements
- Relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) essential
- Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles, with a focus on heavy vehicles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach to finding solutions and improving processes
