Civil Infrastructure Estimator

The successful Estimator will be responsible for preparing cost estimates based on tender documents and site inspections, as well as analysing project specifications, drawings, bills of quantities and historical data to provide accurate pricing insights.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of civil and infrastructure works, requiring strong first principles estimating skills, proficiency with Excel-based estimating and excellent attention to detail, risk assessment and communication skills.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates based on tender documents and site inspections.
- Analyse project specs, drawings, BOQs, and historical data.
- Coordinate RFIs, subcontractor quotes, and supplier pricing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop non-pricing schedules.
- Support tender reviews and ensure timely submissions.
- Provide pricing insights and advice to project managers.
- Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' local experience in civil estimating.
- Strong first principles estimating skills.
- A background in Civil infrastructure projects, including civil works, road construction, and bulk earthworks.
- Proficiency with Excel-based estimating.
- Excellent attention to detail, risk assessment, and communication skills.
