Animal Welfare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Animal Management team as an Animal Welfare Specialist. This role involves undertaking proactive patrols, responding to animal-related complaints, and delivering regulatory actions in a professional manner.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on our community by enhancing animal welfare. As an Animal Management Officer, you will be responsible for conducting impoundments, participating in community awareness activities, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure animal welfare standards are met.
- Respond to animal-related complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
- Deliver education programs to promote responsible pet ownership.
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent knowledge.
- Unrestricted driver's license class C.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
