Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Animal Care Specialist to join our team at our Gold Coast Rehoming Centre.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare of animals in our care, including dogs, cats, and small pets. They will be responsible for maintaining high standards of animal housing, providing top-notch animal care, and delivering positive-based enrichment programs.

  • Administering routine veterinary medications and treatments
  • Maintaining and cleaning of animal housing to a high standard
  • Providing a high standard of animal care, including administering routine veterinary medications and treatments
  • Impounding and reuniting lost animals with owners
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Animal studies or relevant field
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with animal care in a professional environment
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Experience using digital management software and inputting data
