Financial Leadership Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and deliver high-quality results.


This pivotal role oversees finance operations, statutory compliance, tax reporting, and funding acquittals while supporting system transformation, process improvements, and organisational capability.


About the Role
  • Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll interface, month-end/year-end close, and annual audit.
  • Manage statutory compliance, tax reporting, and funding acquittals.
  • Support financial systems transformation, including implementation and integration with other platforms.
  • Provide high-quality reporting, variance analysis, and insights for decision-making.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, translating complex financial information for non-finance audiences.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • CA or CPA qualification (essential).
  • Minimum 7 years experience in finance, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB 15, 1058, 16).
  • Demonstrated experience in the NFP or human services sector, including fund/grant accounting and salary packaging.
  • Proven ability to manage audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with finance system implementation (Sage Intacct or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
