Frontline Public Service Officer

As a vital component of the Queensland Police Service, this position plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to the public.
This includes acting as the primary point of contact for individuals requiring assistance and support to frontline officers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional service to diverse community groups in various settings, including police stations.
- Assist members of the public with information related to Queensland Police initiatives and services.
- Undertake counter duties, including compiling crime reports, offender management, and contributing to administrative systems and processes.
- Utilize police computer databases, communication equipment, and other tools to achieve job requirements.
- Process and manage client needs through effective questioning, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Mandatory: Participate in a two-shift, 7-day roster and adhere to shift and weekend penalty requirements.
- Other: Successful applicants will be required to commit to at least a 12-month period.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
