About This Role

A leading financial institution is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join their lending team.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in home lending credit assessment and hold a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA or DCA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess direct and third-party secured home loan applications, evaluating borrower profiles, income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments, identifying mitigating factors and preparing comprehensive credit reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, staying updated on industry regulations and market trends to adapt credit policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst with a strong background in home lending credit.
  • Current hold or previously held a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA or DCA).
  • Experience assessing and making recommendations for PAYG and self-employed loan structures.
  • Strong numerical literacy and excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field highly desirable.
