Home Loan Credit Specialist Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Home Loan Credit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lending credit assessment and risk analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit assessments for direct and third-party secured home loan applications.
  • Evaluate borrower profiles, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.
  • Develop comprehensive credit reports and make informed recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and market trends, adapting credit policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Home Loan Credit Specialist, with a strong background in lending credit assessment.
  • Current hold or previously held a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA or DCA).
  • Experience assessing and making recommendations for PAYG and self-employed loan structures.
  • Strong numerical literacy and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is highly desirable.
