Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
This role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement proactive wellbeing programs, coordinating injury reporting and assessment, and implementing rehabilitation programs tailored to individual employee needs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement proactive wellbeing programs through collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate injury reporting and assessment in line with legislation and policy
- Implement and oversee rehabilitation programs tailored to individual employee needs
- Liaise with medical professionals, managers, and employees to support recovery pathways
- Develop and facilitate effective return-to-work plans
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend proactive strategies to prevent workplace injuries
- Provide ongoing advice, guidance, and support to staff throughout their recovery journey
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications or significant experience in injury management, occupational health and safety, or return-to-work coordination.
You should have a strong understanding of workers' compensation legislation and rehabilitation frameworks, as well as excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Above all, you must be a proactive team player who is passionate about health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
