
Acute Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic healthcare professional to join our hospital team in Victoria, British Columbia.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy and strong support from specialist colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 24-hour care to patients aged 17-100+, including those requiring addictions, palliative care, geriatrics, and co-management of surgical and rehabilitation patients.
As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in various hospital programs, including Inpatient MAID, Hospital at Home, and the Rapid Assessment and Discharge short-stay unit. You will also participate in weekly continuing medical education rounds and pursue opportunities for learning, growth, and innovation.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will play a key role in supporting undergraduate and resident teaching at both hospital sites. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
