Job Overview

The Library Learning Services Specialist role is responsible for delivering high-quality services to students, staff, and stakeholders through both face-to-face and digital channels.

  • This involves working as part of a team of Library Learning Specialists and collaborating with staff from other Library and University units to provide a high level of service to all clients.
  • Key responsibilities include offering consistent and reliable information about Library and University services, making referrals to other units within the Library or University in response to inquiries, and providing accurate and timely responses.
About the Role

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage positively and maturely with clients. The successful person will be the first point of contact for students and external clients coming to our libraries, either on the phone, in person, and online.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality services to students, staff, and stakeholders through face-to-face and digital channels.
  2. Collaborate with staff from other Library and University units to provide a high level of service to all clients.
  3. Make referrals to other units within the Library or University in response to inquiries.
  4. Provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries.
