Empowering Nurses and Midwives in Special Care Nursery
About the Role- Registration as a Registered Senior Nurse or Nurse/Midwife is required, along with AHPRA registration.
- The ideal candidate will have relevant post-registration qualifications and experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or related disciplines.
- A recent practice background in Special Care Nursery is also essential.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
- Innovative problem-solving approaches are necessary to excel in this position.
- Deliver high-quality education to empower Nurses and Midwives to work effectively within their neonatal scope.
- Collaborate closely with the Director and Deputy Directors of Nursing and Midwifery Education.
- Foster a friendly, respectful team environment by nurturing positive relationships.
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders is also required.
