Lawyer Opportunity in Regional Australia

We are seeking a full-time Civil and Criminal Lawyer to be based in Alice Springs or Tennant Creek, Northern Territory.

This newly created hybrid position reports to the Senior Management Team and offers a unique opportunity to work across both civil and criminal legal matters.

The role includes outreach travel and participation in bush courts to provide holistic, trauma-informed legal assistance to vulnerable women in regional and remote areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and represent clients in civil and criminal matters.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to address social determinants of health and wellbeing.
  • Build relationships with local communities, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver holistic legal services.

Requirements:

  • Admission as a solicitor or barrister in Australia.
  • Relevant experience in civil and criminal law.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
