About the Role

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Professional to join our team in a Staff Specialist Medicine role.

This position will be based at Ripley Specialised Inpatient Services, a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program.

The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering quality speciality care to patients in a clinical setting, including directing the process of assessment, admission, ongoing care, transfer and discharge of patients.
  • Extensive clinical experience with appropriate knowledge and skills extending across the range of Medical disciplines.
  • Sound business management skills for planning the financial function of the service.
  • Demonstrating honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.
Requirements
  • Vaccination against certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
