Vertical Access Equipment Service Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a skilled Vertical Access Equipment Service Technician. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vertical access equipment across London and occasionally in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining vertical access equipment, including hoists, lifts and rack & pinion systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Supporting installation, inspection and commissioning of equipment
  • Collaborating with service, installation, commissioning and support teams
  • Completing accurate and timely service documentation
  • Ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures
  • Representing the company professionally on-site and in vehicle presentation
  • Participating in emergency out-of-hours support and flexible travel/work hours
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assisting with other field or workshop tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or electrical engineering background with strong fault-finding skills
  • Relevant qualifications: NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering
  • Previous experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
  • Full UK driving licence
