Study Manager

Ausenco is seeking a highly experienced Study Manager to join our team in the base metals and minerals sector. As a Study Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing client relationships to maximize business opportunities for Ausenco, as well as seeking out new opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Develop a healthy opportunity pipeline for the base metals, gold, and minerals mining market.
- Maintain a consistently high quality of studies output by planning, coordinating, managing resources, technical quality, and study progress.
- Communicate with clients and professional colleagues.
- Formulate effective business cases through bringing together technical knowledge and commercial concepts.
- Comply with all of Ausenco Minerals corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures, and requirements.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with 10-15+ years of experience in the mining industry, with strong base metals, gold, and minerals processing experience. A registered Professional Engineer is desirable. You should have extensive experience in the development, delivery, and operation of mining or mineral processing studies and projects, as well as demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Excellent written technical and oral communications skills.
- Experience with JORC code and NI43-101 reports would be an asset.
- Willingness to travel when required.
