Professional Nursing Role
About the PositionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- To provide exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- To prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations, including IV cannulation.
- To assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography.
- To monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure.
- To maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection.
- To collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians.
- To promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
- To contribute to smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.
- A current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A qualification in IV Cannulation (essential).
- Advanced Life Support certification (preferred).
- Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous).
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management abilities.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- A high level of personal presentation and professionalism.
