- Collaborating in a team of six Nurse Unit Managers across Queensland to drive excellence in clinical service planning and management
- Engaging with referring clinicians and services to streamline patient pathways and promote radiation therapy offerings
- Set SMART performance goals with your team and provide leadership and support to achieve them
- Participating in recruitment and selection of nursing staff to build a high-performing team
- Partnering with marketing and liaison teams to support education and awareness campaigns
- Leading and contributing to project initiatives, including strategic project groups
- Enjoy two dedicated administrative days each week to focus, plan, and recharge
- Support staff in education, research, and professional development opportunities
- Navigate the electronic clinical prescribing system confidently
- Collaborate with Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Radiation Oncologists, Nurses, and Allied Health to foster a strong team culture and deliver coordinated, high-quality care
- Promote a workplace culture that values expertise and empowers staff to make a meaningful impact
- Foster connection, support, and shared purpose in daily practice
- Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA
- Proven leadership experience with ability to manage people and drive team performance
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with empathy for patients and carers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to quality improvement and NSQHS principles
- Passion for delivering high-quality patient care
- Ability to nurture staff potential
- Postgraduate qualifications or experience in management or healthcare administration
- Experience in Radiation Oncology
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate change management
