
Critical Care Specialist

This role is a critical position in the Intensive Care unit, requiring a senior medical officer to oversee patient care and management.
- The key responsibility of this position is to coordinate admission, management, and discharge planning of patients seen in or admitted to the Intensive Care unit.
A strong understanding of medical procedures and protocols is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a high level of emotional intelligence.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for documenting patient care to the minimum medico-legal standard, as set out by hospital policy. You will also be required to work 80 hours per fortnight, which will include a combination of evening, weekend, and night shifts.
The ability to think critically and make sound judgments is crucial for this position. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
