Job Description

We are seeking a visionary engineering leader to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. This pivotal role is accountable for resourcing, coordinating, and executing high-quality engineering services across multiple bids and projects in high-voltage (HV) electricity.

This dynamic opportunity involves shaping critical infrastructure projects, driving innovation, and playing a key role in powering Australia's energy future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading High-Performing Design Teams: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Delivering Innovative Design Solutions: Drive the delivery of innovative, compliant, and cost-effective design solutions across multiple high-voltage D&C bids and projects.
  • Managing Design Resources: Ensure alignment with business plans, budgets, and strategic objectives.
  • Developing Technical Proposals: Clearly articulate scope, risks, schedules, and deliverables to support winning bids.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Prepare tailored work packages and evaluate supplier and subcontractor offers.
  • Championing Safety in Design: Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and SID workshops to ensure robust, compliant outcomes.
  • Maintaining Design Governance: Ensure adherence to systems, standards, and client requirements.
  • Representing the Organization: Build networks, promote capabilities, and identify new business opportunities.
