Warehouse Quality Specialist Job

We are looking for a skilled individual to execute and develop strategies that enhance quality controls and best practices within our warehouse area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect goods from suppliers against quality standards
  • Complete and maintain necessary paperwork, reports and documents in a timely manner
  • Release conforming goods and quarantine non-conforming goods to ensure accurate receival and placement into the warehouse
  • Liaise with stakeholders on receiving new product lines, quarantine goods, rejected components and returned goods
  • Perform general duties as requested by Managers
  • Comply with all OHS and Quality system policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Able to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Solid understanding of material and product quality
  • High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously while being a team player
  • Physical capability to lift loads up to 20kg on occasion
  • Sound understanding of OH&S and company policies
  • Proactive approach to advocating for the Quality Management System and a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Forklift experience preferred
