Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Stockbroking Technology Team. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading platforms and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of our trading platforms and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain test data and environments to support testing activities.
  • Provide regular test status and completion reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing practices remain current and effective.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
  • Experience with API testing, testing in back-end C# server and UI JavaScript environments, and testing in mobile apps (iOS and Android).
  • Knowledge of primary database engines (SQL Server) and ability to write complex queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • High standard of attention to detail and tenacity, with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and adapt to significant amounts of change in work assignment.
  • Full working rights (Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident).
