About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Siebel Application Developer to join our team at DWS Group in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Siebel applications that meet the needs of our enterprise-scale clients in the BFSI sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Further develop and customize existing Siebel applications to meet business requirements
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical Siebel application solutions
  • Design and implement Siebel configurations, scripting, workflows, and business services
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging of Siebel applications to resolve issues and optimize performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members
  • Maintain and update technical documentation related to Siebel development projects
Requirements
  • Significant demonstrable experience as a Siebel Application Developer with expertise in Siebel 6, 7, and 8, and later versions such as 15+
  • Proficient with Siebel Tools and Client in configuration and customization of Siebel Objects at multiple levels
  • Strong experience with Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, eScript
  • Integration experience with Siebel Out of the Box adapters, web services, EAI, SMC, VBC, EBC, and JMS queues
  • Strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model, Databases, MSSQ Server / Oracle
  • Good knowledge and experience with Siebel Call Centre or any Base application, and experience with at least one of the vertical applications, e.g., banking, finance module
  • Solution & enhancement development using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, PLSQL, Siebel interfaces, and Control-M
  • Migration of Siebel changes from Dev to SIT and through to Production, including post-production support
  • Experience with supporting large-scale Siebel Enterprise installations
  • Programming skills in various languages to develop customized applications and tools to maintain and support the application, scripting experience essential
  • Support end-to-end testing
  • Understand & Provide performance tuning solutions for online & Batch integrations
  • Create and maintain Technical Design Documents
