Key Responsibilities:
Enhance and tailor existing Siebel applications to align with business needs. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements into effective Siebel application solutions. Design and execute Siebel configurations, scripting, workflows, and business services. Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of Siebel applications to address issues and improve performance. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems. Offer technical support and guidance to end-users and team members. Maintain and update technical documentation related to Siebel development initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience as a Siebel Application Developer with a strong background in Siebel versions 6, 7, and 8. Proficient in Siebel Tools and Client for the configuration and customization of Siebel Objects. Solid experience with Siebel configuration, Assignment Manager, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, and eScript. Integration expertise with Siebel Out of the Box adapters, web services, EAI, SMC, VBC, EBC, and JMS queues. Strong understanding of the Siebel Data Model and databases, including MSSQL Server and Oracle. Familiarity with Siebel Call Centre or other Base applications, with experience in vertical applications such as banking or finance. Development of solutions and enhancements using Siebel configuration, EAI, EIM, PLSQL, and Siebel interfaces. Experience in migrating Siebel changes from Development to Production environments. Support for large-scale Siebel Enterprise installations. Programming skills in various languages for developing customized applications and tools. Support for end-to-end testing processes. Ability to provide performance tuning solutions for online and batch integrations. Creation and maintenance of Technical Design Documents.
