Job Description

As a Clinician in Forensic Intervention, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering best-practice intervention in a correctional environment. You will build on your existing experience working with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending.

You will work within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, providing individualised services including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparing treatment plans and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality forensic intervention services to individuals with complex needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
  • Current driver's licence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs
